Web Interface
Overview of the Scanz web interface including navigation, sidebar, filters, and results table.
The Scanz web interface is designed for efficient real-time stock scanning. This guide covers the main interface elements you’ll use across all features.
Navigation Bar
The top navigation provides access to all Scanz features:

Search by symbol - Quick lookup for any ticker. Enter a symbol to jump directly to that stock’s data.
Session clock - Shows current market status: Pre-Market, Market Open, After Hours, or Market Closed.

Your saved custom scans. Each scan stores your filter configuration so you can reload it instantly.

Prebuilt Scans
Ready-to-use scans organized by category:

Trading context: Prebuilt scans are a starting point. Most traders customize these by adding filters like price range, minimum volume, or float size to match their strategy.
Filter Panel
Click Show Filters to reveal the filter configuration area.
Active Filters
Each active filter displays:
- Toggle switch - Enable/disable the filter without deleting it
- Filter name - The metric being filtered (e.g., “Percent Change”)
- Session indicator - Which session’s data (PM, RH, AH, FD)
- Operator - How to compare (greater than, less than, etc.)
- Value - The threshold or comparison value
- Delete button - Remove the filter
Adding Filters
Click + Filter to open the filter library. Filters are organized into categories:

Quick Filters
Located below the filter panel:

Trading context: Many traders exclude OTC markets for better liquidity and tighter spreads. ETF filtering helps focus on individual stocks vs. fund products.
Results Table
The main results area displays stocks matching your filters.

Customizing Columns
Click the Columns button (top right of results) to add or remove columns. Available columns include all filter metrics, so you can display any data point you’re filtering on.
Sorting
Click any column header to sort by that metric. Click again to reverse sort order. The currently sorted column shows an arrow indicator.
Trading context: Sort by % Change to see biggest movers at top. Sort by Volume to find most active stocks. Sort by Relative Volume to spot unusual activity.
